Watching The Sun
(Son)
I have often watched the sun rising
When a new day is finally begun
I see all the wonders God has done
Too many to name... one-by-one
I see so many gifts He has shared
Can taste the freshness in the air
Can feel the breeze rushing by
Can see the birds soar as they fly
They are free as a breeze
All they think is Oh Lord please
You take care of us without a word
Your voice speaks and we have heard
You are in charge of all that is here
And You will watch over... it is very clear
You are there when sunny and when it rains
You calm the storms... that sometimes come again
I have also watched the sun disappear
At close of day... You have been here
I wonder what I've done that's right
I ask as I go to bed each night
I thank You for everything and
That I can feel, touch, smell and see
You gave us these senses to use as You please
How blessed I am and how much peace... there is
When You come in... the enemy flees
What a day... What a trip... What blessings
You watch us still even when we are resting
We are not sin free like You and pure
You're the utmost and the highest... it's for sure
Time flies by as we go on our way
It's hard not to slip and not stray
You left us the keys
So we are on our knees
And saying Thank You Lord, and Please
Accept me, I'll set you free
It is an open door for you and me
Yes, You left us the keys and road map too
Watching us closely! What will they do
Watching for the Son as He watches me
I say... I Believe and I Trust Thee
