WAS THAT A BUTTERFLY

Just as the sky was scatter with grey clouds
Something beautiful came flying by...fluttering so proud
It was so big, I thought it was a bird
But no tweeting and chirping I heard
It had to be a butterfly sent to me
I felt warm inside, and I felt Thee
So beautiful it took my breath
I know it was of love it as it came to me
It made me happy....this sight I see

It's colors were bright and clear
It please me to know it was so near 
If it was sent to give me a message or a good feeling
No matter what, I am still reeling
To know God made this flying thing
And oh what joy...it made my heart sing

Can you even imagine what a lovely site
Then the clouds left and son shined bright
There was no rainbow yet as the rain has not arrived
It was an awesome picture right before my eyes
Could it feel my heart as I sighed and said that's the most beautiful
thing I have seen
After that the birds began to chirp and tweet
Their noises were cheerful, soft and sweet
Talking to each other in their own way...helped make this a most
blessed day

I thought of God and all He had created...was right beside me in
plain view to me, and
 I'm so very happy it flew over and around me....
Touching down as it bounced and pounced on this day
I gladly pronounce what my eyes beheld in just a quick glance
Was this God sending me love by any chance
