My Mother

(We will forever be, in spirit's touch)

Oh, I miss her touch, and I miss her smile,
She was oh, so strong, down to the last mile.
With her kind, loving ways, she cared so much,
We will forever be, in spirit's touch.

Oh, her heart was so pure, she was gentle and kind,
I will see her again, it's so strong in my mind.
She was always there, for me day and night,
As I traveled life's road, trying to find the Light.

We have been together, for so many years,
We helped each other, when there were some tears.
No one can ever fill, my Mother's shoes,
Before she left, she paid her dues.

(pause - key change)

My Mother taught me, to be the same way,
And she also told me, never forget to pray.
If you can top my Mom, in any form,
You'll be able to weather, any storm.

About her I could write, or sing on and on,
I do miss her so much, since she has been gone.
She was my dearest, and most precious friend,
And yes, I know, our friendship will never end.

Oh, I love you so, and miss you, dear Mom,
And deep in my heart, you are still number One.
With your kind, loving ways, you cared so much,
We will forever be, in spirit's touch.
We will forever be, in spirit's touch.
