My Dream

I had a wonderful dream last night
The golden gate was opened wide
There was an angel that looked like my mother
Then before my eyes was that my
Five sisters and my brother

The lady looked so very young
Around her shoulders white wings were hung
Her blue eyes were more pretty than I'd ever seen
She said, "come on my daughter "fly" don't just dream

The words I heard made me shiver and cry
Is this like she talked of.... the sweet by and by
Mother was among an angel's band
and How she sparkled and gleamed
This is what I saw in My Dream

Smiley faces of beautiful people were there
They had no fears and no problems like down here
We have broken spirits, and weary, confused minds
In my dream I saw love and faces of every kind

She showed me her room in this awesome place
How glorious it was to see my family again
In a place with only sunshine... light and no heavy rains
Could it all be so pretty
Where no one feared or had self pity

We'll never grow old, and will sparkle with love
It came from God, who awaits in heaven above
I saw a crown on God's head That said Jesus, my Son died for you and bled

I'm gonna store up all my hopes and dreams
Just like my Father who has no schemes
For  to have no night... just day
Come for me, call me soon I pray
It's a place where I want to forever stay
Call me Lord... as in my dream
To my home you've made for me
Where I'll have joy, love and always see
As I'm so close to You Lord, and you've set me free

Wouldn't it be great if all dreams were like this one
I will have them, when the victory is at last won
Cause we'd not wander into  the past night
But glitter and shine in the clear bright light
Have no sorrows or blues in our heart
The next time I dream I pray it's for real
This deep in my heart and soul I feel

That God is calling me away from this earth
Where I'll be happy, well and much self-worth
So I'll work harder and more sincere
So I'll be ready to see my mother and FATHER dear

I'm anxious to go to bed tonight
My head spins and I feel light... headed
Come on dreams... need more like this one
All day long into the setting of sun
