I HAVE OFTEN 
 
I have often watched the rising sun
 Then a new day is finally begun
 I see all the wonders God has done 
I can't count them all one-by-one 
I see so many gifts He has shared 
Can taste His sweetness in the air 
Can feel the breeze rushing by
 Can see the birds in flight as they fly
 They are free as a breeze...All they need do is say O Lord please 
He takes care of them with a word...Your voices speaks and they
have heard 
You are in charge of all that's here
 And you will watch over it til clear
 You are there when sunning and where there is rain 
You calm the storms, then day starts again 
 
I have often watched the sun disappear 
At close of day, you were so near 
I wonder what I've done that's right..I ask as I go to be each
night 
Thank You for everything and that I can feel, smell, hear see
 You gave us these senses to use as You please
 How blessed we are and how much peace there is 
When you come in the enemy flees
 What a day, what a trip, what blessings 
You watch me closely and as we rest
 
We are not sin free like You...and pure
 You're the utmost and highest...for sure
 Time flies by as we go on our way....hard not to slip and stray
away 
You left us the keys and asked us please 
Believe...accept me...and set me free
 It's an open door for you and me
 Yes the Lord also left us a road map too 
He watches closely...what will they do
