We're getting a touch of early fall
So pretty to see and hear the birds call
They're calling their young and their brothers
To follow and go where there's sun like no other

The leaves are beginning to turn and fall off the trees
Don't hear as much noise from animals and bees
Sounds like they're begging please come for me...
That's the way I feel too... longing for You Lord can You see
 
If it can all be so beautiful here
I can only dream what it's gonna be there
I've said there'll be no more tears or fears
But Lord, they're all so loud and clear
Not only tears of sadness for me
Tears of joy engulf me
As I dream and wait for You, Oh Lord
Coming in Your armor and Your sword

You'll move us around and clear the air
The good ones of us are going nowhere
Except  we'll have the calm of day
And the still of night
We'll be well and everything alright

No one but You can read my lips
No one but You can wipe tears that drip
My eyes are longing to behold You
I don't know but I've been told
With lots of songs and angels up there
All so LOVE-ly and streets of gold

I don't want to be selfish and not
share with you my friends
Who know not and have no glimpse of the end
My loved ones for sure, I pray are kept
And shown Your GRACE and LOVE to it's depths

You know the best way I can clear my mind
Is talking to You, cause you're true and so kind
When I talk to You God
You know where I am
You know where I've been and
You know where I am now
You know what I want and how I feel

It's so great Lord to have You near to my heart
And from me, I'll know you'll never depart
You've walked with me before and
You'll walk with me more
Until we're hand-in-hand and at Heaven's door

My problems are few now, since I've found You
I give them to You, and You know what to do
You take my hurts and cares
And my burdens You bear
I'm kept very well and
The world I'll tell
If you don't know Jesus
You will always live in hell

One may think they're carrying too much
But if  they'll let it go completely,,, they'll love Your touch
With the only one who can save them
And give them a world... life... not grim
My heart feels swollen as I talk to You
Please be with me in all that I do
I need You close so I won't feel alone
Want more of You and what You've shown

You dragged me out of the galleys back when
Now I can live and accept my fellow men
I won't do as they do, and won't act as they do
I'll carry my crosses and follow You
I'm walking now and wanting to run
To meet You Lord in the midnight sun
And then my day will be done

You flow thru me like a river so deep
I give You Lord, my soul to keep
You'll be with me now in my being... I feel
Forever and ever and yes... until  

The feelings I have and what I want
Are You Lord... only You
I'll take all you have
And thank You for all I have got
Thank You Lord for another beautiful day
It helps so much along my way
Also makes my song a little sweeter
