In the midnight hours and the day is done 
Stars are passing over and my Jesus has won 
He protected me and oh how great!
 With just a little shove there was the gate 
The pearly gates are now in sight
 God tells me Be Still and Stay Quiet  
Don't interrupt the spirit's flow 
That I've sent you through your soul
 
There is rejoicing yet to come but only for some  
Ones who listen and they have heard my voice 
Will come to me...the right choice 
 
I couldn't go to sleep last night...counting sheep 
Then I saw the shepherd as he watched over the herd
 The harder I work for the Lord on high
 Evil  hovers over me heavy and I can only sigh  
satan...leave now I demand. But on the other hand 
Jesus, I'm asking You to fill every void 
In my heart and soul...no room left for.....
 Not needed, so go away you dirty old man  .
