Enjoy Your Day The Lord Says

As I woke this morning after a restless night
Outside there was not a rainbow in sight
God's telling me, make the most of this day
If you feel lost, get on your knees and pray

Look up and through the clouds into the sky
You'll surely see a reason to want to try
Get that chin up, and look around
As you look towards heaven from the ground
 
Just look up and glimpse my face
Love, joy, strength and courage through my grace
Don't let others get you down
Smile and let them be... don't frown

Try to remember you cannot control others
You mind your self and I'll reckon with your brothers
Don't be timid and shy when you call on me
You are so wanted a part of me to be

On me, and my promises you have the word
Shout it out and tell all that you've heard
Your Savior called you and that you've tried
On his faith, as you prayed and cried

Thank you Lord, for loving this old soul
You've lifted me and now I'm whole
Remember child, this day is really mine
I give it to you, so please be kind
As I have made and loved the world and all therein
And gave it to my people who dwell within

Don't let a cloud cover up the sky and sun
Just praise me and I'll bless you til pure
I have already paid the price for you
Don't worry, fret and pine over what others may do

You each have a call and gift in my plan
Let my spirit in and hold onto my hand
I'll lead you and let your grow
Until you've surrounded and all will know

You are my child made in the image of me
Accept the truth, read my word... I say to thee
A prayer is just a minute away
You can now be calm and enjoy your day.
