Another Beautiful Day
This Could Be One of Many Days
I Have Felt Like This Day
What a beautiful day it is here
It makes me happy and elated with cheer
Feel lifted as I move around and look
At all the wonders we have
And the promises in Your Book
I have learned now to save them in my heart
And can have freedom to do as I feel
Not being able to work has made my life real
My life now should be one of ease
So I can work for You as You please
So anything holding me back from physical moves
It seems my person and soul...it behooves
At times tho Lord I need a boost and a shove
From You Lord in the Heaven above
I put things off that need to be done
Need to put the storms aside and make them into sun
So glad I still am fascinated with nature things
Like squirrels, butterflies and all that fall brings
The leafs will turn to some beautiful shades
And they wave at each other....like in a parade
To show what we have done and what we can achieve
With wings clipped it is easy to believe
That we, like the birds can fly and soar high
Make use of the time and things we have and
Think of the sweet bye and bye
Not cry for things we have not, or have left behind
We have a world of awe and wonders to find
When all goes wrong and not as I would desire
I know I have a judge who'll take it down to the wire
Time is flying by and seasons are changing
Like a new life with lots of rearranging
All goes back to like it was last year
Another season with a life of no fear
Thank You Lord for Your blessings on me
How could I even dream of returning enough praise to thee
You are the only God and one I will serve
In return and thanks...You deserve
