ABOUT MY DAY

Writing is all I have done today
Thank You Lord for telling me what to say
If I would write and never talk
I'd be free from saying things wrong 
In my earthly walk
Would be content with and could handle
The rains and even heavy showers 
Would then have more strength
And could better share Your power

When I talk at times my words run-away
And am at a loss of what and how to say
I most always say things wrong
And that have nothing to do with my song
How I love You and how I praise...You
For showing me all about your ways

You've been with me since I was a child
And together we've covered many a mile
Through ups and downs Through right and wrong
With You.  is for sure, where I now belong
As we travel the roads and move along
Each new day gives me another song

I'll never again wander and stray
Want to walk with You Lord everyday
Help me Lord, and now I pray...
Thank You so much for showing me the way
